For designer and artist José Levy , the Fontainebleau collection is the culmination of a very personal project, as he designed the outdoor furniture for his own country house near Fontainebleau.
"I love the natural surroundings here, but I'm also very drawn to the bustling city of Paris, just an hour's drive away."
The Fontainebleau collection consists of six elements: a sofa , a chair , a round table , a chaise longue and a side table. They are all considered as small architectural compositions responding to the different functions of a living room in a garden: resting, eating, working and entertaining, alone or with others.
The deep shade of green used and the steel allows the Fontainebleau collection to remain outdoors, even in winter.
