Description
The Mat chair is made in Denmark and designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen. It consists of a hemp shell made using a unique compression process, mounted on powder-coated steel legs. The shell is made from a proprietary blend of 75% hemp fibres, while the remaining 25% is made from a specially developed and recyclable bico binder. The Seaweed variant is made from 69% hemp fibres, 6% eelgrass (seaweed) and 25% binder. At the end of their lifespan, both the shell and the base can be recycled if returned to Normann Copenhagen.
Consider coordinating colors. Light tones of hemp and white steel pair well with soft colors like beige, gray, or light blue. Avoid colors that are too bright to maintain a calming ambiance.
