Dinner candles fit most candle holders (standard diameter of around 2.2 cm); pillar candles sit on a tray or inside a lantern. For a decorative effect, play with natural tones or repeat one bold colour across several candles.
For a clean burn
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each lighting, keep the candle away from draughts and never leave it burning unattended.
