The resemblance to an apple is found not only in the beautiful outline of this lamp, shaped by mouth-blown glass, but also in the delicate swinging of its cord, which mimics a natural stem. Just as an apple draws its nutrients through its stem, Bright Malus is illuminated by its own. This luminaire is made up of two blown glass shells, one opaque and the other diffused, which offer three different types of light. A light directed towards the table for optimal color rendering, a diffused upward light which avoids glare, and a semi-diffuse light to attenuate strong shadows between the directed light and its environment.

The Bright Malus pendant light measures 24.9 cm in diameter and is 20 cm high. Its suspension cable is 2 meters long, while the power cable is 3 meters long. It is available in two colors: cream and black. The version described here is the one with the cream cable.
