Thor Høy, born in 1975, is a multifaceted Danish designer working at the intersection of jewelry, furniture, lighting and industrial design. Originally trained as a carpenter and later graduating from the Copenhagen School of Technology and Design, he went on to work as an in-house designer for some of Denmark’s most renowned design brands. Thor Høy runs his studio in Copenhagen, and his approach to design is inspired by the Nordic design tradition, creating objects that are beautiful, poetic and functional.
