Our values and commitments
At Woodely, we prefer simple, concrete commitments to big promises. Here is what we actually do.
1. Parcels the right size
Our boxes are made to measure by Découpe Stéphanoise, a neighbouring company less than 2 km from us. Every order ships in packaging that fits: no oversized boxes full of empty space. Whenever possible, we also reuse the boxes we receive from our suppliers.
2. As little plastic as possible
For most orders, we protect your items with recycled cardboard padding, with no glue or staples, fully recyclable. Some fragile pieces still need bubble wrap: if so, please reuse it or put it in the right recycling bin.
3. Brands chosen for their materials and commitment
We select brands that work with natural materials. Original Home, for example, works with rattan and jute and funds tree planting (more than 37,000 trees so far).
4. Pieces made to last
The most sustainable choice is not having to buy again. We favour wood, ceramics, linen and glass, materials that age well, over trendy objects that are quickly replaced.
