Our story
Woodely was founded in 2021 in Veauche, near Saint-Étienne, France, after several years of maturing the idea. Behind the shop is Mikael, its founder, and a path that was anything but straight: fashion studies, years of music, retail at Auchan and Zara, two years in Sydney, then a Master’s degree in law, economics and management.
The turning point came in Denmark, between Aarhus and the Mariager Fjord. What stands out there is not minimalism but materials: real wood, raw linen, beautifully imperfect ceramics. Woodely grew from one simple idea: noble materials are not a luxury, they are what make a home feel good.
A selection, not a catalogue
Every brand is chosen for its natural materials, lasting design and commitment: Serax, Muubs, House Doctor, Urban Nature Culture, LIND DNA, Bloomingville, Original Home, Broste Copenhagen… Mostly Nordic and European brands, brought together in one universe: warm, understated and made to last.
What matters to us
- Committed brands. Original Home, for example, works with natural materials such as rattan and jute, and funds tree planting (more than 37,000 trees so far).
- Reused packaging. Your parcels ship in reused or made-to-measure boxes to limit waste.
- Pieces that last. We would rather offer one beautiful piece you keep for years than ten trendy objects.
