 To | After studying at the École supérieure des arts Saint-Luc in Liège and several years of professional experience in Germany and Italy, Bertrand Lejoly joined the Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen as Head of Product Design in 2013. In 2018 he founded his own design studio in Antwerp. He describes his own style as 'simple and refined'. Regarding the formal language, his creations evolve at the limit of expressiveness and subtlety. He particularly enjoys playing with elements engraved in the collective memory in order to create timeless objects intended for everyday use. |
