Recycled Teak Spatulas, Set of 3 - Original Home
This set of 3 spatulas by Original Home brings together the essential kitchen utensils. Use them to cook, stir or serve your dishes.
Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in East Java, Indonesia, from recycled teak roots from certified plantations. These roots, once left abandoned, are given a second life as useful, durable objects.
Teak wood does not scratch pans and does not heat up during cooking. Kept in a pot by the stove, they are always within reach. A beautiful gift for anyone who loves wood and cooking. It brings a warm, natural touch to your interior. A durable, elegant alternative to plastic utensils.
Dense and resistant, teak is suitable for food contact. Its grain and shades vary from one piece to another: each one is unique and its dimensions may vary slightly. Wash by hand in lukewarm water, dry immediately and treat from time to time with a little food-safe oil.
Description
Recycled Teak Spatulas, Set of 3
The three recycled teak spatulas toss vegetables and stir risottos and sauces without scratching pans. Between uses, they wait in a pot on the worktop.
They go well with the round spoon and kitchen spoons in teak from the same collection.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a mild soap, without soaking, and dry straight away. Avoid the dishwasher and nourish the wood from time to time with a food-safe oil. Each piece is shaped by hand, so its grain and dimensions vary slightly.
Original Home is a Dutch brand founded in 2013. It works with artisans and social entrepreneurs, and most of its collection is made from reclaimed materials.
