Dense and resistant, teak is suitable for food contact. Its grain and shades vary from one piece to another: each one is unique and its dimensions may vary slightly. Wash by hand in lukewarm water, dry immediately and treat from time to time with a little food-safe oil.

Teak Root Deep Plate 21 cm
Carved from a teak root, the 21 cm deep plate holds soups, salads and cereal bowls. On special occasions, it becomes a charger under ceramic tableware.
Pair it with the teak cutlery and small bowls from the same collection, and a linen tablecloth, for a natural, warm table.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a mild soap, without soaking, and dry straight away. Avoid the dishwasher and nourish the wood from time to time with a food-safe oil. Each piece is shaped by hand, so its grain and dimensions vary slightly.
Original Home works with partner workshops, notably in Indonesia, to give materials a second life and create durable objects with a clean design.
