Wall shelf from our vintage Mango collection. Robust, this wall shelf is ideal for highlighting your most beautiful decoration or kitchen accessories. Attach it to the wall of your living room or kitchen and place your wine glasses, cutlery or a few plants on it. Heavy-duty metal supports provide excellent stability. Note: * This shelf comes with small screws to fix the handles. * In order to avoid waste, the shelf is delivered without dowels or large screws for wall mounting. Vintage Mango: Our vintage Mango collection is made from a particular hardwood species: mango wood from India. This wood is particularly sustainable because it comes from a flourishing sector: the cultivation of mango. Mango trees are grown on a large scale in India and mature quickly: in 15 years, compared to 50 to 100 years for oaks for example. Fruit production is important during the early years of the tree, but decreases with age. This is why the mango tree is less profitable in plantations. The solution for mango producers is therefore: cut and replant. Thanks to this method, mango wood is truly derived from sustainable agriculture. The forest is not simply cut down. After being used for food production, the wood is reused for the manufacture of furniture. Features: Mango wood has a warm hue, but color variations may appear. This gives each piece of furniture a sturdy and unique look. Saw brands add a vintage touch. Finish: We have sanded the mango wood and applied a layer of protection against water stains. This layer gives it a natural appearance, instead of darkening it or yellowing it, we have retained its original color. The iron parts are powder-coated with a gun barrel finish. Maintenance: - Clean regularly with a slightly damp or dry cloth, without thick seams, to prevent scratches. - Avoid abrasive cleaning tools. - Avoid polishing or cleaning products containing silicone, which can dry out natural wood in the long term. Do not use detergents or cleaners containing ammonia. Apply wax to the wood to give it a beautiful shine and a natural protective finish. It will also prevent the wood from drying out. You can apply mineral oil with a cloth. Over time, it will form a protective layer. This wall shelf is also available in our Factory collection.
