Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in East Java, Indonesia, from recycled teak roots from certified plantations. These roots, once left abandoned, are given a second life as useful, durable objects.

Dense and resistant, teak is suitable for food contact. Its grain and shades vary from one piece to another: each one is unique and its dimensions may vary slightly. Wash by hand in lukewarm water, dry immediately and treat from time to time with a little food-safe oil.

Teak Root Organic Tray S
Carved from teak root, this tray serves coffee and a few sweets, an aperitif for two or a cheese platter. Outside mealtimes, it gathers candles, keys or bathroom accessories.
It goes well with Original Home candles and candle holders, ceramics and linen.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a mild soap, without soaking, and dry straight away. Avoid the dishwasher and nourish the wood from time to time with a food-safe oil. Each piece is shaped by hand, so its grain and dimensions vary slightly.
