ReClay Matcha Bowl White - Original Home
Inspired by the traditional Japanese chawan, the ReClay matcha bowl by Originalhome turns tea preparation into a true ritual. Its wide, rounded shape leaves plenty of room for the bamboo whisk to create a fine, creamy foam. A beautiful, functional object, designed to slow down and savour.
It is shaped from stoneware made with 40% recycled ceramic, from workshop scraps. Its natural speckled white and slight variations in colour and texture make each bowl a unique, handmade piece. Its light shade brings out the intense green of matcha.
Made in East Java, Indonesia, under ethical production conditions, it measures 14.5 cm in diameter and 7.3 cm in height. Its thick wall retains heat and it sits nicely in the hands. Its smooth interior makes cleaning easy after each use.

Description
In the morning, before the house gets busy. You spoon some matcha into the bowl, add a little hot water, then whisk gently until a soft green foam appears. The white bowl brings out the colour of the tea.
Placed on a wooden tray, next to the bamboo whisk and its whisk holder, it creates a little zen corner in the kitchen.
At the weekend, it also holds homemade granola or a bowl of piping hot miso soup.
