Tableware: a natural, elegant table
Setting a beautiful table does not require a full matching service. Scandinavian homes favour pieces in natural materials, mixed freely: glazed stoneware, wood, glass and linen.
Dinnerware
Our dinnerware collection includes plates, bowls, serving dishes, cups and mugs, salad and serving bowls, glasses and carafes. Stoneware by Serax and Muubs, with its deep glazes, pairs beautifully with the more rustic pieces from Original Home.
In the kitchen
Kitchen accessories combine beauty and use: wooden chopping boards, serving trays, salt and pepper mills, trivets. Left on display, they become part of the decor.
Mixing pieces
For a harmonious table, choose one shared colour or material and vary the shapes and finishes: matt plates with glazed bowls, a wooden board for the bread.
Your questions
Is stoneware dishwasher safe?
Most glazed stoneware is, although handcrafted finishes are best washed by hand. Care instructions are given on each product page.
How do I care for a wooden chopping board?
Wash it in hot soapy water, dry it standing upright, and treat it from time to time with a food-safe oil.
